Critique #3

Dubliners
This book was written by James Joyce in the early 1900s.  He lives in a very troubled time in Ireland and his book is a masterpiece of what he has to say about it through hidden messages in stories.  Each story is brilliantly written.  It seems as though every little detail is critical to the overall message that he is trying to get out.  The book contains short story after short story and within each story is an epiphany to discover.  He subtly hints at what he believes is wrong with Ireland without coming out a stating it clearly.  It is a magnificant peice of work for anyone to appreciate.  They are the kind of stories that a person can read and re-read and continue to catch minute details which add to the overall message.  Each story is extremely thought out and very clever.  It is almost a mystery trying to figure out exactly what he is trying to say with each detail.  It is written very intelligently.
